Hi, I’m Laurie!  I am currently studying health sciences at McMaster University.

Here is a little about me. Hopefully, I did myself justice.

Things I like:

• Health sciences, community, and mentorship. I hope my future career lies somewhere in the intersection of these interests.
• Dragon boat and volleyball! The relationships I formed and the experiences I gained through my time in athletics have been the most transformative of my life.
• Walking, hiking, pacing back and forth while on the phone. You get the idea.
• Lists and pointform (clearly).
• Passionfruit green tea with tapioca, less ice and 30% sugar.

Things I dislike:

• Zucchini.

I am from:

• Datong, China, where my parents met and where I spent the first few years of my life.
• Toronto, ON (ish), where I grew up and still call home.
